What's he like?

Hi!  My names Matt.  I'm a thirty something year old accountant who tries not to be as boring as that sounds.

I'm semi well travelled, having been to such far flung places as Uganda, Canada and Sweden, and although I love doing it, the build up still fills me with a mix of excitement and dread.  What will the unknown bring?

I was asked by our Communications department to start a blog so people could follow me on this once in a lifetime sabbatical to California, where I'll be visiting the Dioceses of El Camino Real and of California, and spending my time writing what might turn out to be a best selling novel!  I have no idea if this will work out, but you'll agree I've got the photo for the "about the author" covered (on the home page).  After all, surely that's 9/10ths of a best seller?
